"Truth Is a Four Letter Word" _


For this second release on 333 series, we are very pleased to welcome HUBWAR a multifaced artist from Lyon. The atmosfear of the first track « Until the truth » can evoke some of the classic films of anticipation like 2001 Space Odyssey or Blade Runner. The piece stands out as a return of the dubstep origin,: a mystic and futuristic dub privileging air and minimalist melodies associated with the physical energy of low frequencies. The second piece of the EP, « Wake Up ! » is rougher, more intoxicating. Supported by a powerfull bass drum kit this evolutionary piece pushes aside the borders of dubstep and techno.
« Rythm and Sound » sound experience (available only on the vinyl edition), is a kind of footbrige beetween the French precursors of the concrete music in the beginning of XX° century and the current electronic music. Wake the truth, a retro futuristic journey in the quest of philosophic questions of the truth, the awakening of the consciousnesses, questionning on the codes of the current musics are laid on the table…by the dancefloor.
